Located at 4650, South Laburnum Avenue, Nelsen Funeral Home has served generations of Central Virginians since 1892. Built in 1984, and expanded in 1986, the Laburnum Chapel offers every modern convenience in a comfortable setting. Four spacious parlors allow families to relax in a homelike setting. Each parlor is equipped with flat screen monitors, so families may enjoy the complimentary Tribute DVDs, which we provide. Our comfortable chapel is bright and inviting, with natural light provided by large windows, which line two walls. Mounted cameras allow us to provide real time webcasting of services, so out of town family and friends may view funeral or memorial services.
